Cake bases, fillings and frostings may be modified to taste or enhanced with white or dark chocolate, fruit purees, seeds, nuts, liqueurs or other flavorings.

"Exterior Finish" (right) refers to how the outside of the cake is decorated. Buttercream, White or Dark Chocolate Ganache, and Cream Cheese frosted cakes may be finished with a basketweave or assortment of other piped designs. Rolled fondant, and white or dark modeling chocolate (both enrobe buttercream-frosted cakes), are available for a perfectly smooth, sculptural exterior finish.
